Week 2: The Middle Ages Around the World (Ages 12–15)
The Global History Skills Academy | Live online summer camp | Join from anywhere in the world
Build stronger academic skills through world history.
Week 2 of Time to Thrive Skills Camp takes students across medieval worlds and trains the skills students need to succeed in every subject, including critical thinking, source evaluation, discussion, organized note-taking, and evidence-based writing.
This is a global virtual program, so students can join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. We offer two live cohorts in GMT to support different time zones.
What students will learn in Week 2
The Middle Ages, taught globally and taught with purpose

Evaluating sources for reliability and perspective
Identifying bias and viewpoint
Comparing regions and societies using clear criteria
Building claims and supporting them with evidence
Discussion skills, respectful disagreement, and confident speaking
Planning and producing a polished weekly project
