Week 4: History in the Making (20th and 21st Centuries) (Ages 12–15)
The Global History Skills Academy | Live online summer camp | Join from anywhere in the world
Build stronger academic skills through world history.
Week 4 of Time to Thrive Skills Camp helps students apply historical thinking to the modern world while training the skills they need to succeed in every subject, including media literacy, evidence-based reasoning, critical thinking, organized note-taking, structured writing, and confident communication.
This is a global virtual program, so students can join from anywhere with a stable internet connection. We offer two live cohorts in GMT to support different time zones.
What students will learn in Week 4
Modern history, taught with purpose and real-world relevance
In Week 4, students explore how the 20th and 21st centuries shaped the world we live in today. Building media literacy skills, including spotting bias and reliability issues
Using evidence responsibly in writing and speaking
